OG Crunch Recipes: Every Way We Use Our Favourite Topper
Every recipe on the site that ends with a big handful of OG Crunch, all in one place
OG Crunch is the one that started it all. It is our blend of dehydrated seeds, herbs and spices, slow dried until it cracks, with zero seed oils and nothing weird. People buy it for one recipe and then end up putting it on everything. So I have pulled all my favourite ways to use it into one page.
What is OG Crunch?
Think of it as a savoury granola for your dinner. Earthy, salty, crunchy, and gluten free and low carb. It adds texture, healthy fats and a little hit of flavour to anything that feels a bit flat.

10 quick ways to use it (no recipe needed)
- Over scrambled or fried eggs
- On smashed avo toast
- Through a simple green salad instead of croutons
- On top of roast veg straight out of the oven
- Stirred through Greek yoghurt with cucumber and herbs as a dip
- On soup, just before serving
- Over any of our frozen meals once they are heated
- Pressed onto salmon or chicken before baking for a crunchy crust
- In a lettuce cup with leftover mince
- Straight from the pouch. We will not tell.
Marnie's tip: add OG Crunch right at the end so it stays crunchy. If you mix it through a dressed salad too early, it softens. Still tasty, just not the same.
Want more of the umami thing?
If you love OG Crunch, try Miso Bites. Same 48 hour dehydrate, same crunch, with a deep savoury miso flavour. They are amazing on Asian style bowls, like our chicken bibimbap.
